The Seals and The One Who is Worthy

We are currently in the midst of the Ten Days of Awe. The Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah) concluded sundown Sept. 8, 2021. Yom Kippur is sundown Sept. 15 to sundown the 16th and the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) will be sundown Sept. 20 to sundown on the 27th.

A minister I listen to, put out a call two weeks ago, that at 6 p.m. on Sept 7, during Feast of Trumpets, that all who would, either sound the shofar (or play a recording) and then announce: “Jesus is the ONLY One worthy to open the seals.” I felt an agreement in my spirit with this, since there were previous declarations he made over the air, that the Lord had already been leading me to make aloud, in my own prayer time.

Feast of Trumpets is a time of declaration, of announcements. The ten days leading up to Yom Kippur are a time of repentance and forgiveness. The day of Yom Kippur (sundown to sundown + 1 hour) is a day of fasting.

Please note: no, I am not Jewish nor am I reverting back to “old” ways. I am, however, cognizant of the Holy Days that God Himself established, and that Jesus observed them when He was here on earth. I do not believe God changed His timeline or His holy days (holidays) once Jesus performed the work on the cross, the Resurrection and the subsequent coming of the Holy Spirit. Yes, Jesus fulfilled the necessity of the law with regards to sin and its penalty of death. However, He did not change the rules on tithes, offerings, the Ten Commandments or holiness and righteousness. Thus, I believe He will still follow HIS calendar, and that if we want to understand what’s going on in the world, we need to learn His days and times.

As Christians, we know (or should know) that we must repent constantly, to be cleansed of all sin. We must do the work on our end of being holy as the Lord is holy. In KJV, the statement is “be ye perfect” and all of us tend to balk at that word: perfect. Perhaps a more relatable translation would be “mature.” We should be mature in the Lord. The Apostle Paul tells us we begin as babies but we must grow in the Lord and become mature.

Back to that day, the day of Sept. 6, 2021, and all the weekend leading up to that day, I was not doing well. I was tired and depressed. I experienced heavy depression on the day of the 6th. Once the sun went down on the 6th, and I remembered the date, which was to be the start of the feast (traditionally, once the moon was seen by two witnesses the trumpets would blow & the feast would begin). I began praying and praising. As I began singing, declaring Psalm 24:7 and praising, I felt a shift in the supernatural. Something broke, something shifted. I have no idea what, but I definitely felt a change in the spirit.

On Sept. 7th at 6 p.m., I did as the minister had suggested, I played a recording of the shofar and declared, “Jesus is the ONLY One worthy to open the seals.”

It is my belief that the events of Revelation 5 have now taken place and that the first seal of Revelation 6 has been opened. This means the rider on the white horse has been released and has set out conquering and to conquer. Revelation 6 says he has been given a crown and he has a bow.

According to author Derek Gilbert*, the Greek word used for bow in this text is “toxon” which is where we get the English word, toxic. (Keep in mind, the New Testament was originally written down in Greek. The Apostle John, who was Hebrew, wrote the Book of Revelation in Greek.) The Greek word for this rider’s crown is “stephanos”, meaning “a crown of glory”. A stephanos was the laurel wreath, which was given to the winners of games and to victorious military and political powers in ancient Greece and Rome. This word is different from “diadema” which is a crown of royalty that Jesus Himself later wears (many diademas) in Revelation when He returns to conquer.

So the first rider that goes out at the breaking of the first seal, according to the Greek words used by John, has political and military power and carries toxic weapons.


Note: In his article, Derek Gilbert makes an interesting case that the rider of the white horse is Apollo. Prior to receiving the name Apollo in the Greek religion, this god or entity was known in Syria as Resheph and in Babylon as Nergal.

Apollo, according to greekmythology.com, was one of the most widely worshiped gods of the Greeks and Romans. He was god of light, music, poetry, prophecy and plagues. He represented eternal youth, always portrayed as beardless, athletic and beautiful. I make note of this Apollo-as-white-horseman article because I think it is interesting given our culture’s obsession with youth and beauty, since apparently, the Romans and Greeks who worshiped Apollo shared the same obsession.

Also according to legend, Apollo was bisexual. In the ancient stories he had many lovers, male and female but most notable were the women Daphne and Cassandra, and the men Cyparrisus and Hyacinthus. This is also interesting, given modern society’s proclamations of “love is love” and “love comes in many forms”. Our society, whether most recognize this or not, is already worshiping the Apollonian traits of youth, beauty, athleticism, and love in any form.

Additionally, Apollo was a god of plague. We are currently under the shadow of plagues (whether or not it was invented in a lab doesn’t matter because the mandates and the fear of plague still exist) and toxins are being released upon the world’s population.

It would seem that by looking at the modern world over the last few years, the white horseman was already riding. However, since apparently the seals were just opened, this year of 2021, then you can look back over the last few years and see how the world has been prepared for the first rider, especially if he really is Apollo. Don’t forget the words of Revelation 6:2, that he is allowed to conquer.

This is mind blowing, because that means there will be plagues far worse than what we have seen since 2020. It also means that the worship of youth, beauty and that which God calls an abomination will also increase. (please see my earlier post dated May 22 titled "My Times", when God said we thought Covid was bad, we hadn't seen anything, yet!)

In Revelation 6 the white horseman carries "toxon" or toxic weapons. Now, what could those toxic weapons be? Chemical or biological weapons, or maybe just vaccines? Our word pharmacy comes from the Greek word “pharmakeia” which means to distribute drugs, poisoning, sorcery, deception and idolatry. (https://www.etymonline.com/word/pharmacy)

Do I think all drugs are evil? No. Some are helpful medicines. God put plants, minerals and foods on this earth to help us. Honey is good for allergies, it’s also a natural ointment, sealing a wound and helping it to heal. Garlic is another plant beneficial for fighting illness. Antihistamine drugs have been developed in laboratories to help people suffering from allergies and inhalers to help those with breathing disorders such as asthma.

I myself have suffered from allergies, asthma, sinus infections, etc., and have needed medications. I believe ultimately in the healing power of God and I thank Him for healing me of these health problems even as I take the medications. The same goes for my eyes. I thank God for healing my sight but until that healing manifests, I must wear contacts and glasses. So no, I do not believe that every invention of a doctor or a scientist is evil.

I do believe, however, that the sin is trusting in the power of pharmaceuticals over the power of Jesus. I personally believe that there has been witchcraft involved in the pandemic and the vaccine. I believe that those practicing pharmakeia** invented the plague and then invented a vaccine that will destroy all who have taken it. Yes, I believe that with real repentance and faith God can and will heal those who have taken it, but I wonder how many will repent and have faith for healing - since they already accepted the lie and took the shot. (If you are offended, please don’t shut me down, yet.)

I have seen and heard many arguments from people that the Lord led them to take the vaccine. However, the Lord specifically told me not to take it. Why would He tell some people it was alright to take it, and others not to take it? Please do not be angry, but if you really believe you were told to take it, then I must ask: which god told you? Trust me, I have also looked back over what He has told me and prayed, to be sure I heard correctly, especially since I quit my job over it!

Let us look at the truth of the matter: we were locked down, the economy was shut down, we were told to wear masks, isolate ourselves (quarantines and social distancing) and we have been hearing daily for over a year how many people have been hospitalized or died due to this pandemic. Our government leaders and the talking heads in the media have told us how scary this situation is and that we must all take a shot to ensure that we don’t die or cause someone else to die. This is fear.

Spirits of fear were loosed upon this nation (and the world) regarding the plague as it spread worldwide in late 2019 and through 2020, as well as the variants that are still spreading. According to the government and the news media, the answer to both the fear and the plague is to take a vaccine.

Now, if you are a Christian, then where should your faith and belief be? In whom should your faith and belief be? Should you take a shot because you were told to?

Employers are mandating that employees take the shot. There are already places in the USA that are asking individuals to show they’ve had the shot in order to attend events, dine or travel. This presidential administration is pushing “health passes” and “vaccine passports” (this is already true in Hawaii and NYC) other countries are currently in the process of setting up these things. ***

No, I do NOT believe this vaccine is the mark of the beast, but do you see how easily the actual mark may be implemented? How many people worldwide, who say they are Christian, lined up and willingly took a vaccine because it was available? Before you blast me on this, please pray and search the scriptures.

I’m not condemning anyone who has taken the vaccine. I only ask again: do you see how easily something similar to a mark has been introduced, implemented and accepted?

The bible says that if it were possible, the elect would be fooled, but who are the elect? Jesus Himself mentions more than once “the elect” who wind up outside His Kingdom. He tells a parable of ten virgins but only five of them make it into the wedding feast. He says that those who endure to the end will be saved. He says He can and will blot names out of the Book of Life. He tells His Church to overcome and to hang on and to have nothing to do with evil. He talks about wheat and tares growing up together, and that they look just alike until the harvest. He also talks about the same seed being sown to four types of people: those on the wayside, those in stony ground, those who grow until thorns choke them out and those in good ground who produce fruit.

It is my belief that “the elect” are all those who go to church, “got saved” once upon a time and who still call Him Lord. Yet, it appears that there are some of the elect who do not, at the last, make it into His Kingdom. There are names that get blotted out of the Book of Life. That is so scary, that you can get saved and believe and yet you can still be blotted out!

Pray, all you who say you love Jesus, pray. Ask Him for guidance. If you’ve taken the vaccine and you are offended by these words, I ask you to forgive me and then I ask you to pray for revelation from God. Only He can give eyes to see and ears to hear, and only He can heal and restore.

**I know that many, many scientists would pooh-pooh the idea that they were practicing witchcraft. They state loudly and emphatically that they are atheists, that evolution is fact and they don’t believe in a god or gods. They do, however, believe in science. I submit that anything you put your faith and belief in, is a god, whether you want to admit it, or not. Therefore, I contend that no matter how much one of these scientists scoffs at the idea, they are worshiping a god: science. This god of science has led them into pharmakeia.

There is no place in the bible where it ends well for those who worship a different god. In fact, it ends quite badly. Pray for these people who reject Jesus, pray for their souls. All of them, not just the atheists, but also the pagans, the witches, the buddhists, the hindu, the muslims, the jews, and anyone else who does not believe that Jesus is the Messiah and that He is only way, the truth and the life.

Jesus is very clear that no one may enter the Kingdom without Him. He must constantly be your Lord and Saviour, not just that one time you answered an altar call, but every day. Following Him is a daily commitment. I implore you: if you do not repent daily, if you do not pray and praise and worship Him and read His Word daily, please, please, please begin to do so, now!
