Check Your Heart

This post goes with the other one from this am. Still haven't checked elections, my power went off and I haven't gone on my phone to check. Just a few thoughts:

#1 no matter how it goes SOMEONE is getting a president They. Did. Not. Want. I've heard that we haven't been this divided since 1861. I believe that assessment is correct. We all know how that worked out.

#2 Repent! This is the time to make sure YOU are right with the Lord! Just bc you got saved 20yrs ago, doesn't mean you can't have sinned, since. No, you may not be an abuser or an addict or a thief, etc. But still, the Lord says "for ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God"

#3 FORGIVE!!!! I guarantee, Someone voted totally against you. FORGIVE THEM! Do NOT be offended! Remember Our Lord, on the cross after that horrible torture He had endured and was still enduring, "Father forgive them, they know not what they do". He told us before the cross, "If your brother has aught against you, leave your offering at the altar and go and be reconciled. How can your Heavenly Father forgive you when you won't forgive?" (Paraphrased) You do NOT want to go out into Eternity with hatred and unforgiveness in your heart. At this time, however you voted is between you and God. My vote is between me and my God. I forgive you if you voted against me. I love you. Get right with the Lord. He does Not play around! *** No matter how the election comes out, Somebody is going to say it was stolen! Don't go along with it! Whether it really looks stolen or not, God chooses kings and sets them in place. He raises up nations and destroys them when they are wicked. We are living in a wicked nation. The election results will be a sign to all and there will not be peace and safety. Remember what the Word says about when they say peace and safety!***

#4 2021 will NOT bring back any sense of normalcy. Stay close to Jesus so you can hear His voice. Even if the results don't come out like 1861, we are still in the end times. I've never given birth, but I hear that birth pangs are NOT easy nor pleasant. So this road is going to keep getting rougher until your time is up. Rejoice in the Lord always.

Get your heart right with the Lord. Repent of EVERYTHING. Ask Him to show you anything that is getting the way of your relationship with Him. He will show you and help you to forgive & move on. Forgiveness is choice, Not a feeling.
